STEM

At Cambridge School, we believe that learning should spark curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving — and that’s exactly what our STEM programme is designed to do. STEM brings together Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics into one exciting, hands-on learning journey where children don’t just learn facts — they explore, experiment, and innovate.

Today’s children are naturally drawn to discovering how things work. Through STEM, we channel that curiosity into meaningful learning experiences where they think critically, build creatively, and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. By blending these four disciplines into a single, connected approach, we help them see the bigger picture — and give them the skills and confidence to shape the future.

Beyond books

At Cambridge School, we believe that books are only the beginning of a child’s learning journey. True learning happens when children step beyond the pages — by exploring, experimenting, and experiencing concepts in real life. This hands-on approach not only deepens their understanding but also makes learning an exciting adventure, preparing them for a future full of possibilities.

We ensure that every child enjoys learning beyond textbooks, discovering knowledge in ways that are meaningful and memorable. By focusing on practical understanding and experiential learning, we create an environment where curiosity thrives and every student is empowered to grow with confidence, creativity, and clarity.

TED Ed Club

We take immense pride in being among the select few ICSE schools in Bengaluru licensed to run an official TED-Ed Club for our students. This exclusive platform offers children the opportunity to share their innovative ideas, express their creativity, and give voice to their passions.

The TED-Ed Club is designed to nurture a generation of curious thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and confident communicators. It encourages students to explore, develop, and celebrate their ideas, while fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and purposeful innovation.

Music and Dance

At Cambridge School, we believe that music and dance are essential parts of a child’s growth and development. They not only nurture creativity but also help children build language skills — whether it’s by learning new words through lyrics or gaining confidence by singing rhymes.

We understand the powerful role that music and movement play in shaping young minds. That’s why we actively encourage every child to express themselves through rhythm and motion, celebrating their efforts and cheering them on at every step. Even the simplest movements deserve appreciation, and we make sure each child feels valued and motivated.

Music and dance are an integral part of our extracurricular programme, with dedicated sessions designed to unlock talent, boost confidence, and make learning joyful. These creative experiences go beyond entertainment — they enhance cognitive development, improve focus, and foster emotional expression, making them a vital part of a well-rounded education.

Sports

At Cambridge School, we believe that sports are an essential part of a child’s holistic development. As the saying goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy — and Jill a dull girl.” That’s why we encourage every student to participate wholeheartedly in sporting activities, where learning goes beyond the classroom and life skills are built on the field.

Engaging in sports offers countless benefits — it helps children develop physical strength and coordination, stay active and healthy, make new friends, learn teamwork and fair play, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun.

We take great pride in our sports programme and in the achievements of our young sportspersons. At Cambridge, students can participate in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor games, including:

  • Outdoor sports: Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Throwball, Athletics

  • Indoor games: Chess, Carrom

We also understand that children need regular breaks from academics to recharge and refresh their minds — and sports provide the perfect balance, allowing them to spend their time meaningfully while developing essential life skills.

Public Speaking

At Cambridge School, we believe that communication is the foundation of a confident and connected society. That’s why we place great emphasis on helping children step out of their comfort zones, express themselves freely, and build meaningful connections with those around them.

We actively encourage every student to overcome the fear of public speaking by providing opportunities to speak, share ideas, and present their thoughts in front of others. This not only boosts their self-confidence but also helps them develop strong social and interpersonal skills.

Public speaking plays a vital role in improving communication, shaping perspectives, influencing decisions, and even inspiring change. By nurturing these skills from an early age, we empower our students to become articulate thinkers, persuasive speakers, and confident leaders — ready to make their voices heard in the world.

Library

At Cambridge School, we take pride in offering a well-stocked and vibrant library that inspires a love for reading and learning. Our wide collection of academic books and reading materials is carefully curated to spark curiosity, deepen knowledge, and nurture young minds.

Students are encouraged to explore books beyond their textbooks, helping them expand their imagination, strengthen their grammar and vocabulary, and improve comprehension skills. Regular reading also fosters a habit of independent learning and builds a problem-solving mindset from an early age.

The library is more than just a room full of books — it’s a space where children discover new ideas, explore diverse perspectives, and develop a lifelong passion for reading.

Trips and Excursions

At Cambridge School, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. That’s why we regularly organise study tours and field trips to a variety of interesting locations, giving students the chance to observe, explore, and learn in real-world settings.

Experiential learning makes academic concepts more meaningful and easier to understand. By connecting classroom knowledge with practical experiences, students not only deepen their understanding but also develop curiosity and a love for discovery.

These trips also offer an opportunity for children to learn while having fun, build social skills, and create lasting memories outside the school environment. To ensure continuous exposure to the world around them, our school plans educational tours and expeditions once or twice every month.

Student Council

At Cambridge School, we believe in nurturing leadership, responsibility, and teamwork from an early age. To support this vision — and to assist the management and teachers in maintaining a positive school environment — we have an active Student Council.

The council serves as a vital bridge between students and the school’s leadership. It encourages students to take initiative, voice their concerns, and contribute to decision-making, while also helping them understand the importance of discipline and cooperation.

Through the Student Council, children learn to lead with integrity, communicate effectively, and work together to find solutions. The school carefully guides and supports council members in their decision-making process, ensuring they grow into responsible, confident, and empathetic leaders.

Health and Nutrition

At Cambridge School, we believe that good nutrition is the foundation of lifelong health and well-being — especially during childhood, when the body and mind are growing rapidly. To support this, we conduct a dedicated Health and Nutrition Programme for our students, guided by qualified nutritionists.

This programme helps students understand the importance of balanced eating habits and encourages them to make healthier choices in their daily lives. Regular health assessments are also carried out, and detailed reports are shared with parents to help them stay informed about their child’s well-being.

By prioritising nutrition and health, we aim to build strong foundations for growth, concentration, and overall development, ensuring that every child is healthy, happy, and ready to learn.
