Picture Comprehension can be used in a variety of ways, such as introducing new vocabulary or to see how well the child understands a text being read to him/her. However, it can be adjusted for any age or level of understanding and ability.

Children are often shown a picture and asked to answer questions about what they see in the photo. Picture comprehension is a good way for children to practice their observation skills and retain information about what they are seeing in an image.

The child should be able to describe who, what, where when, and why in a picture. The child should also be able to say which sentence best matches the picture.

There are many research studies that back up these benefits of picture comprehension exercises for young children. Picture comprehension exercises are a great way to help children learn to read and improve their vocabulary.
